Paper Nostalgia
The design is to convey a sense of modern look with geometric patterns and linear shapes. When we think of the Eslite Bookstore, it's not just a bookstore anymore, you can purchase modern stationeries, local fashion brands to mini craft stores...etc. It combines merchandises with modern culture where diverse groups of people gathered around for quality living.
Modern Cultural
People starting reading from printed books, some even like to be surrounded with the nostalgic smell of them. The feel of ink paper, the texture of magazines, the quiet foot steps. People who love to read, often love authentic books.
Hence, this design is to visualize the nostalgic feel of the book texture and to construct a virtual library in the app.
